During this program, you will use the Makerspace's sewing machines to create a simple project. Participants will also learn how they can access the Makerspace sewing machines outside the program. 

This program is intended for sewers who know how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and know the basic functions of how to use a sewing machine. All materials will be provided.

Let's build with Legos! Working together as a family, only your imagination is the limit. Create and name your creation to be put on display in the Youth Services Department. Creations will stay almost until the following month's Lego night. Each creation will have a card with the name of the creation and the designer's first name and last initial. Please register each child participating.

For ages birth to 15 months
In this 20 minute lapsit program, babies will begin to gain contact with language through stories, songs, rhymes, and finger plays. Clap and sing along to tunes while working on fine and gross motor skills and direction, following Ms. Patty's help. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. Explore one of the free e-resources provided by the Peters Township Public Library! Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn will teach you how to access the e-resource and navigate through its features. If attending virtually, you will be provided a Zoom link via email.

Music makes everything better! Join Ms. Linda for casual music time. We will work with rhythm instruments, learn songs, and make a parade. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

Join Ms. Linda and explore different stories with a theme-related activity and craft. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

Last Wednesday of the Month, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A monthly discussion series featuring topics about World War II. New members are always welcome. 

With easy-to-follow instructions, you will tone and stretch your body in this low-impact, mindful movement class. The class will be set to soothing music and is perfect for mature adults and seniors of all abilities. Your instructor will be Meghan Greenwood, an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience. Registration is required.

Help your little one prepare for kindergarten at the library! 

This weekly program consists of stories, rhymes, and songs to help promote early literacy and reinforce basic reading, math, and social skills in preparation for school. Caregiver participation is required as we will be learning skills and activities that can be practiced at home.

This program is designed for  4 to 5 year-olds.

Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn and learn how to use the Cricut Maker 3! The Cricut Maker 3 is a smart cutting machine that can cut over 300 different materials. During this class, you will learn the capabilities of the Cricut machine, navigate through the Design Space software, and complete a simple cut paper shape on the Cricut! 

This program is intended for beginners. All materials will be provided.

For Grades 4 to 6
Join Ms. Linda for this after-school program! Enjoy a discussion on the selected book, an activity and a snack. The first five registrants get a free copy of the book.
