Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn to create 3D designs using the Makerspace's 3D Pens. A 3D pen extrudes heated plastic from the pen's nozzle that cools almost instantly into a solid, stable structure, allowing for the free-hand creation of three-dimensional objects. 

There will be a variety of templates to use, or you can design your own project. All materials will be provided.

During this program, you will use the Makerspace's sewing machines to create a simple project. Participants will also learn how they can access the Makerspace sewing machines outside the program. 

This program is intended for sewers who know how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and know the basic functions of how to use a sewing machine. All materials will be provided.

Let's build with Legos! Working together as a family, only your imagination is the limit. Create and name your creation to be put on display in the Youth Services Department. Creations will stay almost until the following month's Lego night. Each creation will have a card with the name of the creation and the designer's first name and last initial. Please register each child participating.

With easy-to-follow instructions, you will tone and stretch your body in this low-impact, mindful movement class. The class will be set to soothing music and is perfect for mature adults and seniors of all abilities. Your instructor will be Meghan Greenwood, an ACE-certified group fitness instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience. Registration is required.

Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn and learn how to use the Cricut Maker 3! The Cricut Maker 3 is a smart cutting machine that can cut over 300 different materials. During this class, you will learn the capabilities of the Cricut machine, navigate through the Design Space software, and complete a simple cut paper shape on the Cricut! 

This program is intended for beginners. All materials will be provided.

For Grades 4 to 6
Join Ms. Linda for this after-school program! Enjoy a discussion on the selected book, an activity and a snack. The first five registrants get a free copy of the book.  

For ages 2 to 3 1/2
Join Ms. Shannon for stories, fingerplays, songs, and a simple craft. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program. 

For ages 3 to 5
Get movin' and groovin' with Ms.  Shannon in this program perfect for your little wigglers. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program. This is a movement class. Please wear sneakers!

For ages birth to 15 months
In this 20 minute lapsit program, babies will begin to gain contact with language through stories, songs, rhymes, and finger plays. Clap and sing along to tunes while working on fine and gross motor skills and direction, following Ms. Patty's help. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

For ages 1 to 2 ½ years
Join Ms Patty for songs, fingerplays, and a story with your little one! Individual registration is required for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.

Have some fun playing everyone's favorite game -- BINGO! Seniors and their caregivers can join us for Bingo and other games. Prizes for winners and fun for all! Registration is required. 

Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn and learn the basics of Tinkercad. Tinkercad is a free, online 3D modeling program that uses the constructive solid geometry method of building 3D models. Sarah will teach you the basics of Tinkercad as she guides you through a project. 

We will use Tinkercad on the public PCs, so all participants must have a basic understanding of how to use a computer. Due to the time it takes to 3D print, participants will return to the library at a later date to pick up their 3D-printed models.

For Grades 9 to 12
Join Ms. Beth to discuss the craft of writing and connect with peer writers. Bring a pen and paper or a laptop and any work you're interested in sharing. No registration is necessary.

For ages 3 to 5
Music makes everything better! Join Ms. Linda for casual music time. We will work with rhythm instruments, learn songs, and make a parade. Registration is required for each session for each child participating. We are accepting 15 children for this program.
