Help your little one prepare for kindergarten at the library!

This weekly program consists of stories, rhymes, and songs to help promote early literacy and reinforce basic reading, math, and social skills in preparation for school. Caregiver participation is required as we will be learning skills and activities that can be practiced at home.

This program is designed for  4 to 5 year-olds.

This week's letter is “C” is for Construction, with a Special Guest!

Construction with Morgan

Morgan is the owner of American Dreamers Renovations, a design/build company that’s been in business for 15 years.  She is one of the only female builders in PA.  In the last 4 years, she has won 10 Housing Excellence Awards. She’s an expert on construction with a passion for educating and encouraging kids to think about jobs in the industry.

During this program, the kids will decorate their own construction hat.  Morgan will read her first book, Morgan Wants to Build, to them and answer any questions they have.  She’ll show them blueprints and pictures of different houses that she has renovated to educate them about the different tools, machines, and processes that she uses when she’s building something.  They will get to try out some tools and take home some coloring sheets.
