We will be creating our own miniature libraries using recycled tin boxes, scrapbook pages, and old books.

The class is for 1st through 6th graders who have never played or who would like to learn chess.

Topics covered include: how the chess pieces move, how to set up the board, how to castle and how to promote pawns.
