Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn to create 3D designs using the Makerspace's 3D Pens. A 3D pen extrudes heated plastic from the pen's nozzle that cools almost instantly into a solid, stable structure, allowing for the free-hand creation of three-dimensional objects. 

There will be a variety of templates to use, or you can design your own project. All materials will be provided.

Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn and learn the basics of Tinkercad. Tinkercad is a free, online 3D modeling program that uses the constructive solid geometry method of building 3D models. Sarah will teach you the basics of Tinkercad as she guides you through a project. 

We will use Tinkercad on the public PCs, so all participants must have a basic understanding of how to use a computer. Due to the time it takes to 3D print, participants will return to the library at a later date to pick up their 3D-printed models.
