Month Calendar

The class is for 1st through 6th graders who have never played or who would like to learn chess.

Topics covered include: how the chess pieces move, how to set up the board, how to castle and how to promote pawns.

For 1st - 6th graders who already know the basics of chess (how the pieces move, castling, etc). 

Readers of all ages (birth to adult) are welcome to join us at the library as we kick off the "Color Our World" Summer Reading Program from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7!
