Learn how to use the Makerspace sewing machines! During this program, participants will learn how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and replace the needle. Participants will have the opportunity to try out various stitches on our sewing machines and learn how they can access the Makerspace sewing machines outside of the program. Needle felting is the process of transforming wool into 3D objects using a barbed needle. Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn to learn how to create a needle felted project. 

All materials will be provided. Please register for only one needle felting class per month.

Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn to create 3D designs using the Makerspace's 3D Pens. A 3D pen extrudes heated plastic from the pen's nozzle that cools almost instantly into a solid, stable structure, allowing for the free-hand creation of three-dimensional objects. 

There will be a variety of templates to use, or you can design your own project. All materials will be provided.

During this class, you will learn the capabilities of the Cricut machine, navigate through the Design Space software, and complete a simple cut paper shape on the Cricut!

Explore one of the free e-resources provided by the Peters Township Public Library! Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn will teach you how to access the e-resource and navigate through its features. If attending virtually, you will be provided a Zoom link via email.

Sign up for a 1-1 session to learn how to use the Makerspace's Baby Lock Aventura II Embroidery Machine. During this 45-minute session, you will learn the ins and outs of the embroidery machine and complete a small embroidery project to take home with you.
