Come and learn about the life of the Marquis de Lafayette, who aided America during and after the American Revolution. 

This event is a preliminary event to celebrating the 1824-1825 tour of the Marquis de Lafayette, who stopped in Washington, Pennsylvania, on May 25, 1825. Further events are being planned by the Washington County Historical Society. 

The National Pike Chapter DAR will provide light refreshments after this talk. 

Presenter Deborah Davis is a 52-year member of the national society, the Daughters of the American Revolution and a charter member of the National Pike Chapter. She served as the State Regent of Pennsylvania during 2010-2013. She is interested in history and does a daily post on the Washington County Historical Society Facebook page based on Washington County historical biographies and a daily post on the National Pike Chapter DAR Facebook page.
