Join Technology and Makerspace Librarian Sarah Quinn for an interactive presentation about the newest equipment in the Makerspace: the Glowforge laser cutter and engraver! In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll discuss how laser cutters work, compatible materials, appropriate design software, and the functionality of different file types. At the end of the presentation, Sarah will demonstrate a project on the Glowforge, and discuss how you can come back to use the Glowforge for personal projects.
