Discover the ins and outs of how to pay for college at our annual College Financial Aid Night. At this virtual event, Jonathan Warner, Higher Education Access Partner with the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, will discuss:
- Determining Affordability
- Applying for Financial Aid
- Scholarships
- Financial Aid Programs
- What Happens After the FAFSA is Filed
We invite high school students and their parents to this free virtual program. You must register online at https://ptlib.org/college2024 to receive the access code to attend the program. Time will be built into the presentation to allow you to ask any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process.
One of the major changes to the FAFSA this year is that those contributing information to the FAFSA MUST have their FSA ID Account created 4 days PRIOR to starting and completing the FAFSA. You will be verified through the Social Security Administration to confirm your identity. If you plan to attend the FAFSA Completion Workshop at Peters Township High School on Thursday, Jan. 11, it is critical that you have your FAFSA ID Account created before that appointment.
