Program Description

Event Details

Birdsong is one of the most welcome nature sounds that we ever experience, but birds sing for reasons that are primarily practical. In this program you will learn how and why birds sing, and you will learn some tricks and tools for learning to identify the birds you hear by ear!

Bob Mulvihill of the National Aviary will present this program virtually via Zoom. Registrants can watch the program from home or from the library.

This program is to promote the Great Backyard Bird Count! Learn more about the Great Backyard Bird Count at https://www.birdcount.org/

Please note: In the event of inclement weather, this program will still happen online. A Zoom link will be sent to in-person registrants if that happens.
