Event Details
The hobby of bird watching is becoming more and more popular all the time. Bird watching is the simple act of heading outdoors (anywhere and anytime) with a pair of binoculars to look for birds. Seeing birds with binoculars is one part of the process; correctly identifying the birds you see is the other. National Aviary ornithologist, Bob Mulvihill, has been a bird watcher for more than 50 years, and in that time he has developed a very practical and useful method for identifying birds. He will share his simple method with you, and then you can try it in your own backyard or on your next walk in the park.
This program is to support the Great Backyard Bird Count, February 13-16. Come to a bird program or visit https://www.birdcount.org/ to learn more.
